This will get me in trouble...

After living only 20 somthing years i'm already sick and tired of hearing all the things that people associate with "God". From Crusades to Jihads the amount of things done in "God's" name is starting to look rediculous. I was beginning to think i was the only one who felt his way and then i found Voltaire. No, not the historical figure, the musician. He summed up some of the ridiculousness of humanity's 'knowledge' of God in a song called God Thinks. Here are the lyrics. You can find a fan video of the song at his myspace site (linked above). Now before you read the song and send me horrible messages about how humany can't be its own god, let me already say i agree with you. But if it is humans that put words into God's mouth we are essentially setting ourselves up as god and thus, the end of the song makes sense. (and i hopefully won't be murdered in my sleep for posting this)
