After years of careful hair maintenance I finally decided to do something really crazy. I decided to die my hair. Not just any colour though, I decided I'd go blond! I had visions of bleached blond hair combed back and looking very chic. (think Gena Davis from Long Kiss Goodnight, pictured to the right) I imagined the blond would be starkly contrasted by my dark brown eyes.
What ended up happening was anything but startling. It turned out to be rather a pathetic sort of lighter-shade-of-brown. Hardly noticeable at all.
Le sigh.

that's the normal result.
For dark hair you need to bleach it at least twice to get it resembling blonde.
Or you go to a salon...
