lol! i've tried working with Gimp...it just isn't very user friendly. so i'll be a slave to the corprate software until better software becomes more usable...
I have heard that comment before, and fair enough. I have not used photoshop, so I don't know what I am missing out on. I suspect that it is , in part, related to what you learnt on. My guess is that if you learnt on the Gimp you may have found it better.
Having said that, Walt Disney still uses photoshop, although my understanding was they were running it on top of Linux.
